Impact Moling
Valley Water Services provide a service which allows installation of a new water supply with minimum disruption by utilising specialist trenchless technology techniques.Our installation includes a new 25mm MDPE water service, new stop tap and drain valve inside the property. This is achieved using a piercing tool which operates in a hammering action this allow th creation of a bore as soil is compacted and displaced instead of being removed. Holes are dug every 10-15 metres starting at your external stop tap (which is usually situated outside your home in the public footpath) until the property is entered. This is dependent upon the ground to be dug ( eg.stone, rock, clay or soil). The procedure described is known as trenchless technology or often referred to as impact moling.
